Flying Fries Rentals
Flying Fries payware add-ons are now available to rent, on the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Marketplace. There are a few important details that we want to clarify so that you can understand the concept fully.
MSFS 2024 Marketplace
This rental feature was designed by Microsoft and is only available on the MSFS 2024 Marketplace. As you may or may not know, Flying Fries does not sell any add-ons directly. We work with different platforms and can only offer to our clients the options available on these platforms. Currently, rentals are only available on the MSFS 2024 Marketplace.
Pricing
We wanted the pricing to be fair for anyone interested in or intrigued by a Flying Fries product. You shouldn't have to spend too much to test an aircraft and see if its quality matches what you would expect from a payware product. There are two prices grids depending on the base price of the add-on.
For example, the Scrapyard Monster is currently the only add-on of the Sweet collection. The Gabriel and XF-11 are part of the Grand collection.

Note that if you rent a product and decide to purchase it within seven days after the end of the rental period, Microsoft will deduct the rental price from your purchase price. Therefore, you won't pay more than you would if you bought it directly. This process is automatic and handled by Microsoft. As far as I know, this doesn't apply to one-day and three-day rental periods. As explained earlier, this is out of our hands; it's Microsoft's feature.
Most recent add-ons
You will notice that our newest add-ons will not be available for rent right away. We want to offer temporary exclusivity to our loyal customers who decide to pay the full price and support the most our independant studio. This is not an attempt to deceive you by forcing you to buy a low-quality product. We only want to produce high-quality, enjoyable aircraft and other modules. We want to be proud of our work and fly with you, laugh, and have fun! That's the meaning of life!
Those who trust us, have the budget, and probably watch one or two reviews before buying our add-ons should not be disappointed.
For those who are more cautious, who may not know Flying Fries yet, or who have been scammed on this Marketplace way too often already, you should definitely wait for the rental option and not feel pressured to buy anything.
A delay of four to six months will be applied between a product being released for purchase and becoming available for rental. Ultimately, however, all of our payware products will be available to rent.
