Privacy Policy

Flying Fries is a French company (SAS), SIRET 980 426 167 00014, and is the data controller for the personal data described below. We keep this simple on purpose: we collect as little as we can, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone.

Browsing the site

You can browse this entire website without an account and without giving us anything. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party profiling cookies.

Some pages store small amounts of information in your browser so the site behaves the way you asked it to:

None of this is personal data, none of it leaves your browser, and none of it is ever sent to our servers. You can erase all of it at any time through your browser settings.

The contact and sign-in forms are protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may store a technical marker in your browser for the duration of that check.

Creating an account

If you buy an add-on directly from us, you can create an account to find your purchases and your download links in one place.

The only thing we ask for is your email address. No password, no username, no profile to fill in. You sign in by receiving a single-use link by email, valid for a few minutes.

We use your email address to:

The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you. We never use your address for advertising, and we never pass it to anyone for marketing purposes.

Once signed in, your browser holds a session cookie so that you do not have to request a new link on every visit. It contains no personal information, only a random identifier. Each visit renews it, and it expires 90 days after your last one — so coming back regularly keeps you signed in indefinitely, while an abandoned session closes on its own. Signing out deletes it immediately.

Buying an add-on

Purchases on this site are processed by Polar, which acts as Merchant of Record. This means Polar is the seller of record: it handles payment, invoicing and taxes, and it is responsible for the payment data you enter. No payment or card information ever reaches Flying Fries. Polar's own privacy policy applies to the checkout process.

If you have an account here, we store a record of your purchase: the order reference, the product, the amount, and the email address used. We keep this record so that we can give you access to your downloads and honour support requests.

If you buy without creating an account, we record nothing at all — not your purchase, not your email address, nothing. You do not lose anything: Polar keeps its own records, and if you create an account later we retrieve your purchases from them.

When you download a file from your account, we log the date, your IP address and your browser identification. This is used to detect abuse and to help you if a download fails. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.

Who else processes your data

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Once signed in, you can download everything we hold about you as a file, and delete your account yourself.

Deleting your account erases everything we hold about you, including the record of what you bought. We keep nothing.

You do not lose what you paid for. Polar, as the seller, keeps its own records, and you can still download your add-ons from your Polar customer portal. And if you create an account here again later with the same email address, we will automatically relink your purchases from Polar — you will find everything back where it was.

You also have the right to object to how we process your data, and to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Contact

For anything related to your data, write to us through the contact page — the form will already be set to privacy. We answer every request.
