No new trainer airframe has reached flight schools since the late 1990s. The Gabriel (BK160-TR) is general aviation's newest trainer: EASA certified in 2017, FAA approved in June 2024. Built in carbon fibre, it features a full Garmin glass cockpit avionics suite (G3X Touch + G5), autopilot, secondary com/nav unit, and more. What sets it apart from the older GA trainers we all know is its tandem seating configuration and bubble canopy, inspired by the military trainer philosophy: with the instructor out of sight, the student feels responsible for the flight, and the exceptional 300°+ visibility creates a strong connection to the world outside.

The BK420-MO, included in the package, is its other half — same airframe, same wings, and absolutely no interest in being sensible!

BK160-TR

With a modest 160 hp fuel-injected engine (Lycoming IO-320) integrated into its lightweight and aerodynamically efficient airframe, the Gabriel has just the power it needs to fly beautifully and safely at up to 150 knots.

Whether you choose to fly from the front seat or experience a more challenging flight in the back seat with a student in front of you, one thing is certain: Flying Fries' Gabriel BK160-TR will take your general aviation flights — solo or multiplayer — to a whole new level.

BK420-MO

So you already know how to fly? You're not here to study GA trainers? Take a look at this overpowered, Maxed-Out, fictional version of the Gabriel. An 8-cylinder Lycoming engine, 5-blade high-performance propeller, and reinforced fuselage — the sky is yours! Paint your colors in multiplayer with our custom multicolor aerobatic smoke, practice inverted flight at 250 knots, hammerhead turns, looping over bridges, and compare your trajectories with your friends by looking at your trails!

This beast can also be flown alongside the regular Gabriel: They both share the same airframe and the same stall speeds. You can definitely choose to remain civilized if you want, and for as long as you want.
